Spring is here! It’s time for spring cleaning. And yes, that includes your skincare.

Check expiration dates

This is the best time to get rid of your expired skincare products. You don’t want to be using a product that is adding bacteria to your skin. Everything you put on your skin should be clean and safe! Not only do skincare products expire, so does makeup. Be sure to check expiration dates on your makeup products and wash your makeup brushes.

Put away your seasonal products

There is no need for winter skincare products, switch to spring products! Heavier moisturizers can be switched with a lighter moisturizer. Lower SPF can be switched with to higher SPF. We recommend SPF 50 or higher as you will be spending more time outside and in the sun!

Add new products to your routine

Your winter skincare lineup can be much different than your spring/summer skincare lineup. In general, your skincare lineup should at least consist of a cleanser, serum, SPF, moisturizer, and retinol. If you’re missing one of those products or wanting to add more products, now is the time!
