Intense Pulse Light (IPL), also referred to as Photorejuvenation or Photofacial, uses various light filters to treat a range of skin conditions such as age and sun spots, freckles, birthmarks, acne, rosacea and broken capillaries. It also improves the overall skin appearance by stimulating collagen and elastic fiber production- making it a great anti-aging treatment. It is important to avoid direct sun exposure and/or self/spray tanning of the treatment area at least 7-10 days before each treatment.

What to expect at your laser appointment:

At the start of your treatment we will cleanse your skin and apply a clear gel to the treatment area. You may experience a bright flash of light along with a warm or prickling sensation as the laser is applied to the skin, but the treatment is gentle and quick. Total treatment time depends on the size of the area treated and usually ranges from 10-30 minutes.
